Author, A.A., Author, B.B., & Author, C.C. (Publication Year). Title of article. Title of periodical, vol. #, pp. ###-###. [include library call number, if found at the UTSA library]

Example:
Lipscomb, S.D. & Kendall, R.A. (1994). Perceptual relationship between musical and visual components in film. Psychomusicology, 13, pp. 60-98.

Newspaper Articles:

Author, A.A. Article Title. (Publication Year, Publication Date). Newspaper source, p. ###.

Example:
Martin, D. (1999, July 9). Cactus Pear fest makes classics fun. San Antonio Express-News, p. H2.

Books or monographs:

Author, A.A. (1999). Title of work. Location: Publisher. [include library call number, if found at the UTSA library]

Example:
Stuessy, C.J. & Lipscomb, S.D. (1998). Rock and roll: Its history and stylistic development, 3rd ed. NY: Prentice-Hall.

Internet Sites:

Author or Sponsor. Title of individual article or information page. Title of the main home page. Date the page was posted. URL address (Date you accessed the page).

Example:
Cable News Network. "CNN - Entertainment - Music: Billboard Top 10". CNN Interactive. July 8, 1999. http://cnn.com/SHOWBIZ/Music/index.html#billboard (14 July 1999).
